Standing was at a premium at this 1991 HotLanta private pool party, everywhere from the crowded porch and down into the pool jam-packed with beefy guests. The crowds were so unexpectedly sizable that, I learned from the co-host 26 years later, they had to speak to the police who had been called by neighbors and assure them things were under control. A year later, they made sure the crowd wasn’t so out-of-control.
