A crowded poolside social gathering of muscular shirtless men. The foreground features three central figures: one man in blue and white striped swim trunks, another in blue and black color-blocked briefs running a hand through his hair, and a third viewed from the back in green and blue patterned trunks. They stand and converse on a flagstone patio near a tiled swimming pool edge. Numerous other men populate the background of the lively party. The scene is outdoors with a brick house and foliage.

This photo features a fairly standard group of muscular young gay men at the HotLanta pool party in 1992. But, I’ve included it because of the number of comments I’ve received from viewers who admire and envy the cut, pattern, and color of bathing trunks they were wearing.
