I told Gary, “I’ll take some nude photos of you, and you take some of me so we’ll remember how good we looked 40 or 50 years from now.” It was the last day of an 8 day vacation in St. Martin since I had fooled around on the beach under a full moon. I was the 3rd guy he had been with, and although he wasn’t keen on having photos taken of him (probably because it would be with my camera) he was happy to take photos of me. Confession: I didn’t love my body at the time. Looking back, I was overly critical and, as I tell younger men who complain to me about their physiques, “You are as beautiful as you’ll ever be, and will realize that when you look back on this time later. Enjoy your youth while it’s here and stop complaining!”
