In 1987 after my visit to Paris, the south of France, and prior to ending my trip in Barcelona, I visited Ibiza for the second time. I was joined by a friend from the NYC area who I had met in Mykonos in 1985. While we were in Ibiza for close to a week, we got together with a few other gay guys and rented a sailboat with a captain to take us around the Balearic Islands. The excursion was clothing optional, so many of us sailed in the nude. We dropped anchor in Formentera and Espalmador, an uninhabited atoll with a famous natural mud beach, which we gamboled in for half a day
