This is one of my favorite photos from that trip to Brazil in early January 1993. This is a different fruit vendor than in my other pic. He was slicing the tip off the pineapple as the camera shutter snapped: you can see the slice of fruit flying off the edge of his knife. It was dusk and the beach had a laziness to it that was not there during the heat of the day.
