On my second trip to Mykonos (out of three in a single decade), I met Gary Matthews, a sexy British guy on summer holiday. He would become my partner in a week-long torrid affair where we enjoyed the rustic, less populated quality of Super Paradise Beach before I would return in 1993 to find much of its quaintness replaced by commercial development and obvious crowds.
