This is a second shot taken by Junior in his São Paulo apartment in early January 1996. What captivates me in the shot is the interplay between light and shadow on my body. Amusingly, at the time, I wasn’t fond of this image because I felt it made my ass look flat (and, frankly, it did, at least compared to its normal buoyancy). Today, I look back and wonder about my overzealous standards.
