Gay Mountaineer Outed on TV in Islamic Kyrgyzstan (Part 2)

PODCAST—EPISODE 26: Dastan Kasmamytov, a 30 y.o. Krygyzstani, is an LGBTQ activist and founder of Pink Summits, a mostly queer mountain-climbing team attempting to scale the Seven Summits, the highest mountains on each of the seven continents. Only 2,000 or so people have ever completed this challenge.

When that's done, Dastan will become the first Kyrgyzstani citizen to accomplish this feat, which ought to greatly change the perception of LGBTQ people in an Islamic country where mountain-climbing is a national passion.
