BAMMER47: Does a good-looking man in a uniform especially turn you on?
Uniforms have been a fetish for gay men for generations. Whether construction workers, fireman, policemen, military guys (“Hey, sailor!”), or athletes, many gay men associate guys in uniform with hyper-masculinity, seemingly triggering the release of their sex pheromones.
I’ve known guys over the decades who’ve fetishized men in uniform and fixated on having sex with as many as possible. Some specialized in policemen. Others went for the working-class appeal of construction workers. But, as a group, I can’t think of a class of men in society (other than perhaps those in full leather gear:) whose dress has stimulated more gay men to fantasize about (and often engage with them in) sexual congress.
While I appreciate good-looking men in uniform as much as the next guy, I’ve never developed a fetish for them. I’ve joked that “when I’m with a good-looking man, the first thing I’d like to do is unclothe him, not focus on what he’s wearing.” I can’t even remember if I ever had sex with a policeman, fireman, or construction worker (I do recall a hot encounter with a Bell telephone lineman in Boston in the 80s.).
Do you have a strong attraction to men in a specific uniform? Have you been to bed with many in that profession? If so, did the reality live up to the fantasy?
